Yeah - when the heck is the electromagnetic personal transponder coming to KMart? Should've been here by now according to Jules Verne or one of them people.
It's very stressful and frustrating I found, and difficult to keep motivated too!!
Keep it up - you can do it!
We must catch up in Jan sometime. I am back at work on the 14th Jan - woo hoot!
I'm back on 2nd - we'll definitely have to catch up when you're back!
I actually feel quite confident driving the 4WD, it's much easier than the skyline was. Mainly because it's auto so there's less to think about. I do have to perservere - I've got another 43 hours or something to rack up!
And if I happen to run into the gutter or something it doesn't hurt the car so I don't have to worry so much about dinging it.
On my first driving lesson, at about 6.30 am in Queanbeyan, the instructor told me to drive to the end of the street then turn left. I did that, but I kept turning left, and if it didn't have dual controls, the car would have gone through someone's front fence. The instructor told me that you can't do something like that without causing some damage to the car, so we swapped places and he drove for a while to see if it was still working OK. I ended up stopping lessons in Q'bn and didn't start till a year or 2 later, in Sydney.Yes, driving is stressful, infact it's ****** stressful, but I firmly believe that if I can do it, you can too, Al. UD, don't feel that you have to make a comment on my driving.
