This is a fireplace in the bush outside Tingha. There was once a whole house there, this is all that is left. It's the house Adam's grandfather grew up in. There's remains of old tin mines out there as well. Tingha was once a thriving mining town, but it's very quiet now.

It's good that you take photos of this important family memorial, Al.
Very interesting to hear about the relatives of yester-year. We would all go mad if suddenly sent back 100 years. If you went back 40 years & chatted to people they would find your manner of speech unusual, even if you were careful not to mention modern things.
